1. Overview & Data Controller

This Privacy Policy describes how Renard AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, processes, and protects your information when you use the Renard AI tools and services (available at this domain).

Renard AI is an independent, token-gated AI tools application. Renard AI collaborates with and utilizes the Miner Matrix network (developed and operated by Matrix Vision) as a third-party billing, authentication, and transaction service using MTRX tokens. Please note that Renard AI is operated independently and is not owned, controlled, or structurally affiliated with Matrix Vision or the Miner Matrix network.

2. Data We Collect & Purpose of Processing

To operate the token-gated chat and summarizer features, we process the following categories of data:

• Authentication Information: OAuth tokens, usernames, and profile identifiers received from the Miner Matrix network during sign-in.
• Transaction & Balance Records: Your local credit balance and records of MTRX deductions corresponding to query executions (e.g., standard vs. advanced chats or summaries).
• User Content: The text prompts, conversation histories, and uploaded document text files that you explicitly submit to the service for processing.

3. Data Storage Location (Germany, Europe)

We prioritize the security of your data and comply with all applicable European data protection regulations. All databases, servers, and data stores hosting your account information, chat logs, and summaries are physically located in Frankfurt, Germany, Europe.

This guarantees that your personal data is subject to the stringent data protection requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We only retain your chat histories, uploaded document records, and summary outputs as long as your account remains active or until you explicitly delete them.

You can delete individual chat sessions at any time using the Sidebar Nav interface. Upon deleting a session, all associated messages are permanently purged from our active databases in Germany.

5. Your GDPR Rights

Since our operations and data storage servers are located in Europe, you hold the following statutory rights under the GDPR:

• Right of Access: You have the right to request confirmation of whether we process your data and obtain a copy of it.
• Right to Rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate profile details.
• Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): You have the right to request deletion of your account profile and all linked records.
• Right to Data Portability: You can request to export your chat transcripts and summaries in a standard machine-readable format.

Renard AI operates under European jurisdiction. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you have the right to file a complaint with your local Supervisory Authority in the European Union.
